Day 310 :: Eyeball in Chicago
Posted in Uncategorized
I love the camp fire. I could sit in front of the fire and just stare at the constant changing heat and burning of the logs – it is entrancing! Great food is cooked over the fire and on chilly days in September, the heat from the fire is addicting!

Day 307 :: Camping Part 2
My favorite part of camping up on lake Michigan is you are on a beach! We get to bring our bathing suites and camp at night and hit the beach during the day! Our labor day trip was a bit chilly, but it was still fun to have the sand at your feet!

Day 306 :: La Zapatista
Trust me you would not have wanted to see photos of us today when we ran our 18 mile run along the lake front, but this is us eating a hearty meal at La Zapatista – a Mexican restaurant on the south side of Chicago. Day 305 :: Open Window

Day 304 :: New Shoes
Yes, I am in my work clothes running on a treadmill – odd look I know. Josh and I recently bought new tennis shoes for marathon training to ensure we are keeping up on taking care of our feet. We had our gait measured to see the extent of our pronation and if we needed any special support in our shoes. We found shoes we love and hopefully this will get us through all 26 miles!

Day 303 :: Funday Monday
These water glasses don’t represent all of the fun Buff and Hallie and I had while eating dinner at Cedar Hotel in Chicago. I just found it funny that while the waitress first gave us a small cup the size of my fist on the left – we asked for larger cups and she brought out the cup on the right… BARELY larger and still about the same size as my fist. Come on now.. we are thirsty girls~!

Day 302 :: Changing Directions
Random photo I took while in South Beach – But today I went in and let my current director know about my decision to change directions with my career. BIG day! I can fill anyone who wants to know more in on the details, but I am excited to embrace a new lifestyle and hopefully a more enjoyable higher quality of life for me!
